About Us

Julia Ruppert (BA, Hons., Grad. Dip. Art Therapy, Post-Grad. Cert. Public Relations) has been leading expressive arts workshops in Canada and the United Kingdom for over 20 years and is the founder of Collective Arts.
Julia's programmes are intuitive, bespoke and stem from extensive experience with schools, hospitals, galleries, museums, youth centres, child welfare organisations, mental health, special needs and carers centres, charities, local government and businesses.
Her work focuses on the development and execution of large-scale installation projects (ranging from 30 to 2,000 participants), conceptual and experimental art exhibitions and team-building workshops.
Julia is currently working on a research MA in Art Therapy at Goldsmiths University focusing on mental well-being in the workplace.

Jacqui Lofthouse (BA Hons., Drama and English Literature MA, Creative Writing). A Novelist and Creativity Coach, Jacqui has published three novels that have sold over 100,000 copies in the UK, the USA and Europe. She has taught creative writing in a broad variety of settings including City University, Feltham Young Offenders, the Cheltenham Festival and Richmond Adult and Community College. Jacqui has been profiled in ‘The Independent’ newspaper and her work has been reviewed in publications such as The Times, The Observer, The Telegraph and Time Out. She additionally runs “The Writing Coach” a successful consulting business for new writers http://www.thewritingcoach.co.uk and is currently completing her fourth novel.

Lee Campbell (BFA Hons., MA History of Art, MIfL, Post. Grad. Cert. Ed.) is an accomplished Artist, qualified FE Teacher and Life Coach whose recent workshop experience includes Tate Britain and the Heatherley School of Art, Chelsea.
Based on Eel Pie Island, Twickenham, Lee teaches painting, drawing and through a combination of NLP and drawing techniques, coaches both private and corporate clients. An invited artist at the 2009 Florence Biennale, her art work is held in collections globally.

Sharon Powell is a Lecturer and Architectural Antiquarian whose passion and expert knowledge of sculpture and garden design has led to speaking engagements in the UK and across the U.S. She has also created award winning exhibitions at the Chelsea Flower Show as well as other specialist art fairs, including the International Olympia Fine Art & Antiques Fair. Via her long love affair with clay and under the expert tutelage of potter & ceramicist Mary Park, (daughter of Dame Janet Maria Vaughan, former principle of Somerville College, Oxford), she also delivers participatory workshops which explore the mediums’ diversity and inspirational potential. Founder of Anthemion Limited www.ornamentalantiques.com, Sharon additionally provides independent advice to both private and corporate clients on the valuation, purveyance and conservation of architectural antiques and contemporary ornament.

Jessica Shaw is a HPC registered art Therapist who has recently added her clinical talents to the Collective Arts' team.
